The Injustice Gang

Debuting in Injustice For All, this team consisted of Lex Luthor, Joker, Star Sapphire, Copperhead, Shade, Cheetah, Solomon Grundy, and the Ultra-Humanite.  They appeared again in Fury, minus Lex Luthor, Joker, Cheetah, and the Ultra-Humanite; but with Aresia and Tsukuri added to the team.

The Secret Society

Debuting in The Secret Society, this team consisted of Gorilla Grodd, The Shade, Giganta, Sinestro, Killer Frost, Clayface, and The Parasite.

NOTE:  These villains did not necessarily join their respective teams at the same time.  Boldfaced characters above have appeared / will appear on one or more of the current shows; italicized boldface characters were adapted and updated for reimagined Justice League villains.

Commentary

In stark contrast to the Justice League, which will remain the same throughout the series, the Injustice Gang/Secret Society appears to have a more flexible roster.  Lex Luthor, Star Sapphire, and the Ultra-Humanite show up on both teams [which could change at a later date], but the rest of the roster appears to have changed (possibly to accommodate Luthor’s needs?).  The roster has the potential to change again if the series goes on to have a Third Season.

Another thing that caught my attention is the sheer volume of characters that may appear.  Even if we ignore the redundant or stupid characters (Funky Flashman, The Monocle, Libra, etc.) there is still a significant number of potential Society members.  Even more interesting is the possibility of return visits from characters that have appeared on The Batman/Superman Adventures (or will make solo appearances in the Justice League):  Scarecrow, Bizarro, Brainiac, Riddler, Toyman, Vandal Savage and the Ocean Master [Orm] are all potential future members.  Hell, even Harley Quinn could be a possibility (instead of the Golden Age Harlequin)!

(Finally, it is interesting to note that, out of all the teams listed, the Legion of Doom has had / will have the most members appear on The Batman/Superman Adventures and on the Justice League. Okay, the Secret Society of Super-Villains has one more than the Legion, but they also have thirty-six members to draw from!)
