Summary: Minutes away from execution, Floyd Lawton—better known as the masked assassin Deadshot—is saved from the gas chamber by Colonel Rick Flag, who conscripts him into Task Force X, a black-ops team that uses incarcerated supervillains for suicide missions. Teamed with Captain Boomerang, Plastique, and the Clock King, Lawton is given his first assignment: steal the Annihilator from the Justice League's Watchtower headquarters.
